Observing Nature

A selection of my nature studies. I work in several sketchbooks at the same time and do not always organise them by theme. I usually just use whichever one I happen to have to hand. The works shown here were created at home, in my studio, in the woods or whilst travelling. Here I generally draw without using reference material, but work directly from the real object or on location.
