I love working on a book as part of a team, bringing the characters to life and telling a story with them. Knowing that children all over the world read the books and look at the pictures makes me proud, and I always hope that I have been able to give them something – food for the soul, a brief respite, a laugh, hope, or the feeling that they are not alone.
